How We Work

 

We have friendly and knowledgeable tutors who work with a team of administrative staff who have over ten years of experience. Taking the exact client pain points into account, our team matches students thoughtfully. We cross-check all our tutors’ qualifications in advance and evaluate their performance at the end of each first session for quality assurance purposes. Every tutor is fully identifiable. Our efforts complement the already existing academic system under the Independent Examinations Board (IEB), the International Baccalaureate (IB), National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) and Cambridge syllabi plus many more, this enables us to know our subjects thoroughly. We are efficient at allocating students to a tutor within 48 hours from the time of an allocation request.

Amanuensis Invigilation and training

Online Private Tutoring

We provide online tutoring to high school (grade 9 – 12) and university students (BCom Accounting, BCom Law, BSc, BEng faculty modules – 1st to 3rd year). We can teach in both English and Afrikaans.

Short Courses

Short Course training service includes the facilitation of a maximum of a 3-day workshop on selected topics to enhance knowledge on a particular subject. At Lizayoh, we are dedicated to creating content, creating training manuals, hosting and conducting online workshops and offering certificates of attendance. We have a database of content creators and workshop facilitators waiting to tailor-make workshop or course material to meet clients’ terms and references.

IELTS Test Training

IELTS is a test for English as a foreign language and it is written in connection with career growth. It is our responsibility to make sure each client understands the test well enough to pass.

Amanuensis Invigilation and training

We offer reading and writing services. The scribes (professional copyists) we use are fully trained and certified in their respective areas of expertise. For more than 5 years, our experience in this service has been with students with learning disabilities who require scribes during matric exams. We base each allocation of a scribe(s) or invigilator on a client’s concession. Consequently, amanuensis training follows the same process as concession allocation, but it is more advanced since scribes or invigilators get to choose which concessions to focus on based on their interest.
